Since its opening in 2015, IDG has been on a mission to recreate the authentic flavours of heirloom cuisines from the 13 states of Malaysia. Our culinary team skillfully combines the freshest meat, poultry, seafood, and local herbs to craft affordable and mouthwatering dishes that celebrate the region's rich culinary heritage.
We take pride in using aromatic herbs such as lemongrass, shallots, ginger, bird's-eye chchilligalangal, turmeric, pandan, and lime leaves, infusing each dish with delightful flavours. Our spice selection includes fennel, cumin, coriander, cardamom, cloves, star anise, and nutmeg, lending a depth of taste to our creations.
There are dozens of varieties of traditional Malay salads, among them the popular Ulam Raja (Cosmos caudatus), Petai (Parkia speciosa), and Pegaga (Centella asiatica) that we use in our popular dishes.
One must-try dish is our spicy 'sambal' stir-fry featuring the unique and pungent aroma of 'petai' or stinky beans—a true delight for adventurous palates.
With each state showcasing its distinctive culinary repertoire and cooking styles, dining with us offers a journey through the diverse flavours of Malaysia.
Every year we introduce new Malay dishes and one from around the world.
The newest dishes include:
